From brain science last week to rocket science this week.
Richard and Joe will be interviewing Adam Markowitz, founder and CEO of Portfolium and “former rocket scientist”. Adam founded Portfolium in 2014 to help university students connect to employers and develop, showcase and prove their skills. Free for students, Portfolium allows students to showcase real samples of their work and demonstrate their skills beyond the simple resume of college courses and GPA.
Beyond rocket science and starting his own company, Adam is a physical fitness enthusiast, competing in American Ninja Warrior in 2012 (he is tough too) and running the full Olympic length San Diego Triathlon in 2013.
Adam holds a B.S. in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego and a M.S. in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and worked as an aerospace engineer, designing, analyzing and testing liquid rocket engines for NASA’s next generation space launch vehicle.
