Richard and Joe interview local craft beer icon, Greg Koch. Koch co-founded Stone Brewing Co. in 1996 with his business partner Steve Wagner. Stone operates its brewery and restaurant, Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, in Escondido. Greg is a graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business and in 2011, was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for San Diego. He also recently authored the book, The Craft of Stone Brewing Co.
The company recently announced more than $50 million in expansion plan that includes Stone Packaging Hall, Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station, and the future Stone Hotel among other lofty ventures.
