Our talk show guest Sunday, July 29th was Tara Michener, Vice-President of Development and Community Relations for the charity Junior Achievement. Tara, Richard and Joe discussed the organization’s mission to teach students smart money skills using a popular program called Biz Town for 5th graders, developed to reduce the drop out rate among students by giving them hands-on experiences that teach real world skills. JA also focuses on financial literacy, and is developing JA Financial Park.
