Richard and Joe welcomed Dr. Marc Milstein. Dr. Milstein is a Scientist, Researcher, and Professional Speaker who makes cutting-edge Health and Wellness research approachable, and empowers his audience to apply these vital findings to their work and daily lives. He specializes in taking the leading research on human health, productivity, and happiness and presenting it in a way that entertains, educates and motivates his audience to live better. His lecture topics range from cutting edge brain science topics such as sleep, memory, learning and emotions to how our DNA and trillions of cells work in concert with our environment to determine our health. Dr. Milstein is frequently invited to deliver his lectures throughout the United States and overseas. Dr. Milstein Education is a popular science lecture series currently hosted in venues across Los Angeles. Each week, Dr. Milstein shares “hot-off-the-press” research and actionable wellness tips that boost health, productivity, and happiness. The findings he shares with medical doctors and therapists as part of their continuing education are the same findings he shares with the life-long learners, pro athletes, executives, and other professionals that attend his talks.

Dr. Milstein has been featured by corporations such as Creative Arts Agency (CAA), Crystal Cruise Lines, Regent Cruises Lines, TigerText, Four Seasons Hotels and Kayne Anderson Wealth Management. Hospitals such as Providence, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Ventura Hospitals. Schools and Organizations such as California Science Center, Young President’s Organization, Wise School, Brentwood Prep, Skirball Cultural Center, Loyola Marymount and UCLA.
He earned both his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry and his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UCLA. His doctoral research uncovered the role of a protein called “R1N1” that suppresses breast cancer. Interestingly R1N1 is also involved in memory, and Dr. Milstein is fascinated by how the brain and body work in concert. Dr. Milstein has conducted research on topics including genetics, cancer biology, neuroscience, and infectious disease, and his work has been published in multiple scientific journals. Dr. Milstein received the prestigious California Breast Cancer Research Fellowship Award in recognition of his work.
