This was the third and final segment of interviews with presenters from the 5th Annual Servant Leadership Institute’s National Conference. Richard first interviewed Steven M.R. Covey, who is one of the three keynote speakers of the conference. Mr. Covey has long been a thought leader on the topic of leadership. His book, The SPEED of Trust: The One Thing That Changes Everything, challenges the notion that trust is merely a soft, social virtue and instead demonstrates that trust is a hard-edged, economic driver. It is by building trust and holding it with all the stakeholders of the business that organization thrives.
For the second half of the show, Richard was joined by Joanne Lamb and Roxanne Johnson from WD-40 Company to talk about their interactive workshop, Courageous Conflict Resolution. The workshop will provide several hands on demonstration of how to resolve conflicts that naturally occur within a business in an effective and productive manner. They are also encouraging those who plan to attend to write out a current conflict that needs to be resolved so it can be addressed within the workshop.
