KGTV’s Senior Investigative Producer J W August has been covering San Diego since 1982. For twenty five of those years he has focused on consumer and investigative reporting for 10news. Mr. August has won more than 125 awards from organizations including The National Press Club, Investigative Reporters and Editors, a number of awards from the local Society of Professional Journalists chapter and multiple Emmy’s from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

August has been recognized by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for exposing fraud; received the public service award from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and local advocacy groups have honored him for his work on behalf of the public including the Environmental Health Coalition and San Diego Hunger Coalition.

Leo Klijn

Mr. Klijn is a principal with Henberger, a San Diego-based mergers & acquisitions advisory firm. Henberger assists business owners in the lower middle market (revenues from $5 to $50 million) with exit planning, valuation and transaction services. Mr. Klijn’s career has been international and ranges from VP of Marketing and Sales for Group Casino in France to several senior executive positions, strategic sourcing engagements and software implementations for leading retailers and CPG companies such as Carrefour, Metro, Ito Yokado, Group Casino, Leroy Merlin, PetSmart, Petco, Dannon and Smurfit.

As a business owner and M&A Advisor, Leo discovered that most business owners are woefully unprepared for their endgame and has developed a comprehensive exit planning process that assists business owners in developing a road map for their exit called IntelligentExit™.

Mr. Klijn received his Masters from ESCP-Europe, Paris, London, Berlin and his Undergraduate from Nijenrode, the Netherlands ‘ School of Business and is fluent in six languages.
