Your host, Richard Muscio, spoke at Greg Reid’s Secret Knock event Wednesday, August 8. With about 60 seconds notice after the morning break, he was asked to present. The speaker before the break was Les Brown, arguably the greatest motivational speaker in history. All of the other speakers (all scheduled) were happy they didn’t have to follow Les Brown.
Richard, in 5 minutes, talked about his experiences as Bobby Riggs’ scrapbook maker, and the work his Move Your Feet Before You Eat Foundation is now doing for young female empowerment 40 years later, in the context of the importance of business leaders being active leaders in their communities, the benefits of which extend beyond the obvious (better communities, better people) to actually serving to break down the barriers that intolerance puts up.
